The switch kick is becoming more and more utilized in MMA in recent years. Popularized by Muay Thai legend Saenchai, several MMA fighters have begun to employ the kick more & more. From Conor McGregor using the kick against Dennis Siver at ‘UFC Fight Night: Boston’, to Paige VanZant using the kick to finish Bec Rawlings, the switch kick is quickly becoming a common technique.

In the video above, you can see the kick used in a Muay Thai fight, with devastating results. As you can see, the KO took place in the K-1 ring, during their world grand prix.
