Sometimes, taunting is a useful tool for fighters to bait their opponents into striking exchanges, in order to land counter shots as they come into range. The Diaz Brothers popularized what is now known as the ‘Stockton Slap’ which is one of the most well-known cases of ‘useful’ taunting in fights.
