The news of the fight between Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen being canceled was both a surprise and not a surprise. Let’s be honest, a lot of us, including Sonnen, have had our doubts about this fight actually making it into the octagon. So now Sonnen will fight Vitor Belfort, which may not have the added emotions that the previously scheduled bout would have, but it’s still a great fight. Unfortunately it seems as though someone forgot to tell Silva though. The “Axe Murderer”, took to Twitter yesterday evening and it seems as though he’s pretty shocked by the news that’s circulating.

The translation for that, according to Twitter, is “What is this??? I’m not buying!!!!”
