Urijah Faber spoke recently about Chael Sonnen at a press conference. Faber talked about how he’s known Chael for a long time and how the two met while Faber was wrestling at UC Davis and Sonnen was wrestling at Oregon, Faber even went far enough as to call Sonnen an “outstanding individual”

“I think this sport needs guys like Chael Sonnen,” said Faber. “Sonnen does it [promotes fights] in an interesting way, that you’ll really hate or really love.”

Faber is set to step into the Octagon July 21st against Renan Barao for the interim championship.
