“UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Le” Bonus Report: Bisping and Woodley Earn Extra $50,000

Even though there were no bonuses given for “Fight of the Night”, Dana White still showed generosity when he dished out four separate “Performance of the Night” awards.

Performance of the Night: Yuta Sasaki
Sasaki came firing out of his corner with a flying knee and proceeded to make quick work of his opponent tonight. He submitted Roland Delorme in just sixty-six seconds and put on an incredible showing. Expect big things from him in the future.

Performance of the Night: Alberto Mina
Shinsho Anzai was no match for the aggression of Alebrto Mina tonight. As Dana White put it, “Anzai was looking great until he got knocked out.” It was a competitive fight but it was Mina’s ability to press forward that won him the fight.

Performance of the Night: Tyron Woodley
The result of the bout speaks for itself: Tyron Woodley def. Dong Hyun Kim by way of TKO (Strikes) 1:01 of Round 1. It only took Woodley sixty-one seconds to FINISH a top ten opponent. Woodley is scary-good and he is currently ranked at #4 in the welterweight division. Considering Kim is ranked #10, this fight will not push him up the rankings at all but it’s not like UFC brass pays attention to that.

Performance of the Night: Michael Bisping
Michael Bisping looked to be in top-shape tonight in his bout against Cung Le. Le gassed out fast which allowed Bisping to fire off incredible combinations throughout their 19 minutes of fighting. Bisping landed what looked to be a twenty-strike combination to end it in the fourth and Le was a bloody mess when he made it back to his feet. Bisping proceeded to entertain those in attendance with his post-fight interview.
