Embattled former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz, has (at least for the past several years) an out of control personal life.

The worst part about it is, he makes it very public.

Having not fought professionally since a 2012 loss to Forrest Griffin, Ortiz still manages to keep his name in the headlines on a regular and often frequent basis.

From public arguments with his former partner, Adult film actress, Jena Jameson, to ongoing personal hype, drug allegations, failed press-conferences and more, Ortiz has a public image in dire need of a revamp.

Today the saga continued.

We recently learned that, Tito once again finds himself under fire, this time though, it’s a legal blaze.

The former UFC champion was arrested at approximately 4:00 a.m. this morning in Los Angeles following a collision on the freeway. Officers on scene took him into custody on suspicion of DUI.

The popular athlete, whose birth name is Jacob Christopher Ortiz, was taken into custody around 4:00 a.m. after a single-car collision near of on the 405 Freeway near Sepulveda and Santa Monica boulevards, the CHP said.

“Ortiz was driving northbound on the I-405 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the concrete center median,” the press release said.
