Former UFC light-heavyweight, Thiago Silva, was arrested back in February. Here’s the police report if you want the details. Then, in March he was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond. Silva is back with the Blackzilians and coaching kickboxing classes and according to his lawyer, who spoke with FOX Sports, Silva’s wife had the restraining order against him removed on Friday.

That’s an interesting piece of news since several of the charges against Silva stem from incidents involving his wife, including one where he allegedly put a gun in her mouth. Silva is currently awaiting trial, but is able to train at the gym while wearing an ankle bracelet. Silva’s lawyer seems confident that he will beat the charges against him.
