Salary Report: Anderson Silva Tops UFC 162 Disclosed Payroll


Even in defeat, the former pound-for-pound king took home the lions share of the disclosed fighter pay last weekend at UFC 162.

So much so that, he out-earned his opponent by $552,000.00.

The Nevada State athletic commission released the disclosed fighter pay this morning for last Saturday’s event that took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the NSAC release, the UFC paid out a total of $1,613,000.00 to the fighters on the Fourth of July weekend fight card.

Here is the breakdown:

Chris Weidman: $48,000 (includes $24,000 win bonus)
def. Anderson Silva: $600,000

Frankie Edgar: $240,000 (includes $120,000 win bonus)
def. Charles Oliveira: $21,000

Mark Munoz: $84,000 (includes $42,000 win bonus)
