Ross Pearson (15-6 MMA, 7-3 UFC) recently suffered a knee injury in training, forcing him out of his scheduled ‘UFC Fight Night 37’ bout opposite Melvin Guillard.
According to a tweet from “The Real Deal,” he had torn his MCL, LCL & meniscus from a leg kick in sparring.
At first glance, one would assume that Ross would be out for a significant amount of time with such an injury. However, according to Pearson, he expects his recovery to last only 4-6 weeks.
