Two top middleweight fighters are inching closer to a battle, and there doesn’t appear to be anything in their way.
According to UFC Tonight, UFC officials are entertaining a fight between Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold.
“Luke Rockhold vs. Lyoto Machida, this fight is being discussed,” stated Daniel Cormier on tonight’s UFC on FOX Sports 1 broadcast. “Both guys want the fight. We know Lyoto asked for it earlier. Luke’s very open to fight. The fight is being discussed internally.”

According to the program, the UFC is looking at a possible November date in Brazil for the bout.
