‘Ares’ is no more.

Canadian Mixed Martial Arts master, Rory MacDonald has changed his nickname ahead of his promised title shot.

The welterweight fighter formerly known as “Ares”, will now be referred to as, ‘The Red King’.

Last night, UFC Tonight announced the change on FOX Sports 1.

According to the UFC’s report, Rory, actually means Red King.
