Late August, it was revealed that UFC heavyweight fighter, Stefan Struve, was diagnosed with a severe heart condition that could easily derail his career as a professional athlete.
Shortly after the same revelation, Struve himself came out and said he would fight as long and as hard as he needed in order to make a healthy return and continue his pursuit for UFC gold.
According to Struve, his hard work and determination is paying off because he has indeed been cleared by physicians to return to training.
His words:
Tomorrow is the big day folks, fingers crossed! 🙂 Lets hope the left chamber decreased in size and that the leakage had become less.

So the news is that my heart has decreased in size and because of that the aortic valve leakage has gone from medium severe to minimal!
