Here we go. So, Nate Diaz and Matt Brown might be fighting. It was announced as official, both by the UFC and by Brown who posted a picture of the contract, but Diaz has continued to say that he doesn’t know anything about it.

Diaz stopped by The MMA Hour today and talked about the situation.

“I don’t know yet, I haven’t talked to anybody about the fight and I haven’t been negotiated, so, I’m waiting to find out.”

“I was told the Brown fight was talked about, but they were supposed to work out a deal and figure it all out and negotiate the fight.”

“I never ok’d the fight.”

Diaz says he likes the fight with Brown and knows that it’s a fight everybody wants to see, but according to him he hasn’t agreed to anything and now with all the fan pressure he feels like he’s being forced into the bout.

“I think that’s a great fight. Everybody would want to see that fight.”

“It feels like I’m being forced into a fight.”

“I like the fight, sounds good, sounds great. I don’t like the circumstances of the fight.”
