Longtime UFC welterweight Josh Koscheck has agreed to step up on two-weeks notice and fight the very dangerous Erick Silva, in Brazil.

Koscheck last saw action just 8 days ago on the main card of UFC 184. He lost via submission in the second round, to Jake Ellenberger.

Ben Saunders, who is out with injury, was Silva’s original opponent.

The new fight remains in the UFC Fight Night 62 co-main event slot.

UFC Fight Night 62 goes down on March 21 from the Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
