President Dana White was just as shocked as anyone by the 13 second knockout of Jose Aldo last year.   The one-punch decisive strike sent ripples of warning to the LW and FW divisions that a force was to be recognized that night.

White explained the sudden reaction to the Boston Herald‘s Jack Encarnacao:

“Frank Fertitta is a (expletive) moose, OK? He’ll flip tables over and everything else. It wasn’t anything negative or positive. It was just his reaction to Jose Aldo getting knocked out in one punch, you know?”

Do you buy it?  Or did Fertitta just want to see more than a snapshot of a fight?
