Here’s a trip down memory lane to Rory MacDonald’s third professional fight at the young age of 16! Fellow Canadian Jordan Mein made his professional debut against MacDonald at Rumble in the Cage 17, back on June 17, 2006.

MacDonald has matured to be one of the greatest welterweight fighters in the world. MacDonald’s last fight was one for the ages as he took on UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler in a bloody brawl that went to the fifth round, where Lawler ultimately put MacDonald away by TKO.

Mein also made it to the UFC stage, the biggest MMA promotion in the world and has already retired from mixed martial arts at age 25. Mein went 3-2 in his UFC career with a 29-10 professional mixed martial arts record.
