Back in April, Jon Jones made his highly anticipated return to the Octagon after nearly a year and a half. Jones was initially slated to fight Daniel Cormier for the UFC light heavyweight championship, however an injury forced DC out of the bout. Ultimately, Ovince Saint Preux stepped in on short notice to fight Jones.

Jones won the bout via unanimous decision to claim the interim UFC light heavyweight championship, and earn a title unification fight with Daniel Cormier at UFC 200.

At UFC 197, when Jones fought Saint Preux, Daniel Cormier’s teammate Luke Rockhold was cageside and mic’d up for the fight.
