Evans-Smith weathered an early storm from Macedo, utilizing her wrestling to pick up an incredibly brutal TKO win via elbows in the 3rd round with just minutes left in the fight.

The win improved Evans-Smith’s record to 4-1, and her UFC record to 1-1. Following the win, Evans-Smith’s ranking will likely spike from where she is currently ranked at #13 on the UFC’s official women’s bantamweight rankings.
