On this day in MMA history 5 years ago, Lyoto Machida landed one of the most iconic KO’s of all time at UFC 129 as he finished Randy Couture with an incredible jumping front kick.

The win earned Machida a crack at Jon Jones’ light heavyweight championship at UFC 140, which he lost via submission.
