With Corey Anderson now the odd man out, that means either Gustafsson or Smith should bounce back in to the win column on June 1.

Anthony Smith was most recently seen in action at last weekend’s UFC 235 event in Las Vegas, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to current UFC light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones.

Prior to the setback, Smith had reeled off three straight stoppage victories over opponents Rashad Evans, Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and most recently Volkan Oezdemir.

Prior to his second career setback to “Bones“, Gustaffson was coming off back-to-back wins over Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira.

The UFC was last in Stockholm for UFC Fight Night 109 in May of 2017.

That night, Swedish superstar Alexander Gustafsson defeated former title challenger Glover Teixeira via fifth round knockout.
