Brendan Loughnane says he is ready to cash in after failing to get a UFC roster spot through Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Loughnane picked up a unanimous decision victory over Bill Algeo on DWCS on June 18. The 17-3 fighter did not receive a UFC contract and controversy ensued. Dana White said that Loughnane’s takedown attempt in the final 10 seconds of the fight cost him a roster spot:
"There's 10 seconds left in the fight and you're going to shoot? If he f*cking wung it out at the end of the 10 seconds, I probably would've picked him."

MMAJunkie.com‘s Simon Head spoke to Brendan Loughnane, who revealed that he has received offers from other big promotions:
“My stock’s through the roof. I’ve got plenty of offers on the table, and it’s about time to make some money now. I’m 29, I’m not getting any younger, so I am out for the highest bidder, whoever that may be.
“Since this fight, I’ve spoken to PFL, ONE Championship, Bellator, and KSW. I already had those guys on the table before the fight. Nothing’s changed. And they all reached out to me straight after the fight.
“Like I say, get the money out, and the highest bidder, I will go there. I don’t care about fighting in Asia, fighting in Poland, the States, wherever. I will go wherever now. I’m a seasoned veteran and wherever the money is, I will go.”
Loughnane competed just once under the UFC banner back in Dec. 2012. He dropped a unanimous decision to Mike Wilkinson. Since that time, he’s gone 12-2 and even avenged his loss to Wilkinson.
