Recently, in Rio for the Olympics, Egyptian judo competitor Islam El Shehaby put on a true display of disrespect after losing to Israel’s Or Sasson.
With the two countries’ hostile history, after Sasson defeated El Shehaby, Sasson attempted to shake his competitor’s hand, to which the Egyptian declined. The crowd went on to boo El Shehaby for his poor sportsmanship and has caused quite a stir on the Internet.
