Nate Diaz says he is ready to return and two top lightweights have already offered their services.

Former UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz took to social media earlier this evening where he announced that he is “sick of sitting around” and revealed that fight fans will see him back in action this May or June.

“Sick of sitting around waiting for you fuckers to do shit there’s no excitement in this fight shit step your games up I’ll see u around may, June. Sincerely The Real Champ.” – Nate Diaz

Shortly after “The Stockton Slugger” made his exciting announcement, two of the lightweight divisions top contenders immediately began campaigning to be Nate’s next opponent.

First was former interim lightweight title challenger Kevin Lee who sent the following message to Diaz.

The second man to throw his name in the hat for a fight with Nate Diaz was former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.

“May-June is perfect @NateDiaz209 , see you then big guy #Eastcoastbeastcoast #Ufcmostviolent” – Eddie Alvarez

Nate Diaz has not competed since suffering a majority decision setback to Conor McGregor at UFC 202 in August of 2016.

Prior to the setback, the younger Diaz brother was coming off of two impressive victories, a submission win over the aforementioned Conor McGregor at UFC 196 and a decision victory over Michael Johnson at UFC on FOX 17.

While Kevin Lee and Eddie Alvarez are definitely both solid options, Nate Diaz may have other ideas.

The Stockton native was briefly linked to a fight with welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 219, but unfortunately for fights fans that scrap failed to come to fruition.

Of course there is also the potential of Nate Diaz fighting Conor McGregor for a third time.
