Josh Thomson (22-8 MMA) has suffered an undisclosed injury which has forced the former Strikeforce lightweight champion to pull out of his scheduled Bellator 154 matchup with Michael Chandler.

MMAFighting.com confirmed the news after an initial report from FloCombat.com.

Thomson has gone 2-0 since joining the Bellator ranks, scoring finishes in both of those victories.

Meanwhile, Michael Chandler is also riding a two-fight win streak ahead of the May 14 event. No word yet on who the former Bellator lightweight champion will face on short-notice.
