Long time UFC flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson put his 125-pound title on the line against Henry Cejudo in the co-headliner of tonight’s UFC 227 event in Los Angeles.
The fight served as a title fight rematch, as “Mighty Mouse” had previously defeated Cejudo via first-round TKO at UFC 197 in April of 2016.
Tonight’s rematch was much different when compared to the pairs first encounter. Johnson utilized his fantastic speed to land a plethora of strikes on Cejudo. However, Henry was able to score some timely takedowns and work his wrestling to even up the scorecards going into round five.
