While the MMA community continues to discuss a potential boxing match between UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, McGregor appears to be gearing up for a boxing match.
McGregor, who was pulled from his UFC 200 welterweight rematch with Nate Diaz after refusing to fulfill his media obligations for the event, currently doesn’t have a fight booked, however it is expected that he will face the winner of UFC 200’s Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar interim featherweight title fight.
