At the UFC 196 press conference, Conor McGregor wasn’t too pleased with the promotional poster that was used. The poster in question showed McGregor standing behind dos Anjos, and didn’t include McGregor’s featherweight title belt.
Of course McGregor’s title belt wasn’t included because his featherweight championship wasn’t on the line in the fight due to the fact that he was moving up in weight to challenge dos Anjos for the lightweight championship.
Regardless, McGregor wasn’t pleased, and went on a mini-rant in which he stated that he would be having a stern talk with the UFC’s poster department.
Now, the UFC has released the official poster for the event, which ironically includes McGregor’s championship belt.
