It was a rough night for former WBC champion Victor Ortiz.

Ortiz took on Andre Berto in a rematch on Saturday night’s Premier Boxing Champions on FOX card.

While Ortiz won their first bout back in 2011, Saturday was Berto’s night stopping Ortiz in the fourth round.

Ortiz would face more adversity walking out of the fight when a crazed fan attacked Ortiz by throwing a large object at him as he walked backstage after losing.

Some fans in California were upset with Ortiz after he did answer the referee on wanting to continue to fight after being hurt by Berto’s offense in the fourth round.
