Urijah Faber has some big accusations against former teammate T.J. Dillashaw.
In a recent interview on the “The Herd,” Faber and UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz were in a verbal war ahead of their upcoming title fight at UFC 199.
Cruz questioned Faber’s opponents saying that he hasn’t fought the best fighters in their division and asks why he never fought former champion and former teammate T.J. Dillashaw.
“He’s talked about fighting [the best] people, but he doesn’t beat them…Why didn’t you fight TJ Dillashaw? He’s the best,” said Cruz (via MMA Fighting).
“I fought TJ Dillashaw for 8 years, every day. Dude I’ll smoke TJ Dillashaw. He looks like a prepubescent little teenager right now because USADA came in. You look like a chubby…,” responded Faber.
Cruz pounced on the fact that Dillashaw was a student led by Faber and Faber said, “I don’t know if he was or not” but later stated that “it’s very obvious.”
