This past Saturday at UFC on FOX 18 Sage Northcutt suffered the first loss of his professional career.

Northcutt fought Bryan Barberena, who was a late fill-in for Andrew Holbrook. Barberena picked up a 2nd round submission win over Northcutt, which lead many to criticize Northcutt for what they believed was a premature tap.

Many fighters took to social media after the fight to critique Northcutt, however some sent positive words of encouragement.
