First up, highly touted light-heavyweight prospect Alonzo Menifield. Undefeated in his professional career, Alonzo returns to DWTNCS this season to claim his spot in the UFC and continue his journey of becoming the “top dog.” With a truly inspirational story of struggle and perseverance, Alonzo has all the makings to be a star in combat sports. We’ll talk shop and get to know this finisher before he returns to action on June 12th.

UFC veteran and TUF alumni Angela Magana returns to the show to give us an update on her career since parting ways with the promotion. “Your Majesty” has some very ambitious goals of competing at the 2020 Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling and we’re going to get all the details on how and why she chose pursue a gold medal in Tokyo, Japan. We’ll also get an update regarding Angela’s MMA career, her pending lawsuit against Cris Cyborg, and the conditions in her area following the devastation of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico last year.

A good friend of the show, one the most talented athletes outside the UFC, and a champion in four weight divisions prior to signing with Bellator, Juan Archuleta. “The Spaniard” returns to the show to discuss his upcoming scrap on June 29th at Bellator 201 against Robbie Peralta and his ongoing mission to achieve greatness in MMA. We’ll hear his plans for multiple titles within the promotion, which current champ he believes would be his biggest test, and the daily grind of working with TJ Dillashaw and Cub Swanson at the Treigning Lab.

Another multiple-weight champion who also has his own plans for a lasting legacy in combat sports, Martin Nguyen. “The Situ-Asian” joins us yet again to recap his title defense against Christian Lee at ONE: Unstoppable Dreams last month. We’ll get his thoughts on his performance, the baffling yellow card he received during the fight for stalling, and why he’ll guarantee a great show in his next outing. Martin tells what fights make the most sense going forward, the honor of being awarded the title by Michael Phelps, and which UFC champions he wishes to face if co-promotion wasn’t an issue in the sport.

Closing out this episode is UFC welterweight and fan-favorite, Alan Jouban. “The Brahma” returns to preview his recently announced fight against Danny Roberts at UFC FN 134 in Hamburg, Germany on July 22nd. Following a foot injury sustained in his impressive win over Ben Saunders back February, Jouban looks to keep the momentum going against Roberts and set himself up for another shot at breaking into the rankings. We’ll discuss the matchup against Roberts, Alan’s initial reluctancy to compete internationally again, and his perspective on some of the hot topics in the sport right now.
