This past weekend at UFC 202, Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson left MMA fans in awe as he picked up a spectacular one-punch knockout win over #2 ranked Glover Teixeira in just 13 seconds.
Following the win, Johnson and UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier both verbally agreed to a fight. Despite that, UFC President Dana White revealed this week that he is interested in putting together a Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson title eliminator fight.
That didn’t sit too well with Daniel Cormier:
.@dc_mma vs @Anthony_Rumble is gonna happen. This man deserves a shot and I'm more than willing to give it. See you soon Johnson! #andstill

After Jones was pulled from UFC 200 with less than 48 hours until fight night, Cormier stated that he needs a break from Jones, and would not be fighting Jones next, regardless of how the pound for pound kingpin’s USADA appeal process goes.
