UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor never shies away from showing off the ‘fruits of his labor’ on social media, in the form of designer clothes, luxury vehicles, and expensive shopping sprees.
The featherweight champion banked his largest payday earlier this year when he fought Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 196 at welterweight. McGregor lost the fight, but managed to break several UFC records with the event.
Ahead of his UFC 202 rematch with Nate Diaz, McGregor has been ranked on Forbes list of top 100 highest paid athletes for the last 12 months.
McGregor, the sole MMA fighter on the list, ranked at #85, with his ‘salary/winnings’ being listed at $18 million, while his endorsements are listed at $4 million for the 12 months.
Other combat sports athletes who were ranked include Floyd Mayweather at #16, Manny Pacquiao at #63, and Canelo Alvarez at #92.
