“I am a person who can do this thing at any time. I have hurt countless colleagues. So I do not blame the friend who hurt me. I know it is because I do not have enough skills. I learn a lot. And again, I realized that there are many people waiting for my game. Sorry. I will be stronger and will return.”
This week, Jung posted to Instagram once again following the completion of the successful surgery, with a message of both frustration and inspiration:

“Everything has its reasons. There will be. # But it hurts too #Korean zombie”
The Korean Zombie recently returned from a 4 year hiatus, which saw him complete his mandatory 2-year military service to South Korea, before then recovering from injuries. Upon returning to the Octagon, Jung picked up an impressive win over Dennis Bermudez, which saw Jung get rocked early on, before bouncing back and picking up a devastating uppercut KO to mark a dominant return to the Octagon, which put the division on notice.
