UFC featherweight Artem Lobov (13-14-1 MMA) will reportedly be making his return to the octagon at October’s UFC Fight Night 138 event in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
According to Red Furry MMA, “The Russian Hammer” will take on Zubaira Tukhugov (18-4 MMA) at the October 27 event.

Artem Lobov has not competed inside the cage since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Andre Fili at last October’s UFC Fight Night 118 event in Poland.
Lobov was slated to fight Alex Caceres at April’s UFC 223 event in Brooklyn, but was pulled from the card due to his involvement in Conor McGregor’s now infamous bus attack at the Barclays Center.
“The Russian Hammer” will enter the contest have dropped four of his past six fights. Lobov’s most recent victory came at UFC Fight Night 99 in Ireland where he defeated Teruto Ishihara via unanimous decision.
Meanwhile, Zubaira Tukhugov, a training partner of current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, has not competed inside the octagon since UFC 198 in May of 2016 where he suffered a split-decision loss to Renato Moicano.
The 27-year-old has gone 3-1 since joining the UFC ranks in February of 2014. Tukhugov has scored victories over Douglas Silva de Andrade, Ernest Chavez and Phillipe Nover while fighting under the UFC banner.
