However, after &#8216;Borz&#8217; missed weight by <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/ufc\/ufc-279-chimaev-vs-diaz-weigh-in-results-khamzat-chimaev-badly-misses-weight\/\">a whopping 7.5lbs<\/a> earlier this morning, the bout was called off as Diaz was not willing to entertain a catchweight contest.<\/p>\n<p>With that, the UFC quickly played musical chairs with <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/tony-ferguson\/pros-react-to-nate-diaz-vs-tony-ferguson-booking-revised-ufc-279-lineup\/\">other fighters<\/a> set for the card and wound up with the following <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/nate-diaz\/ufc-279-has-a-new-main-event-following-khamzat-chimaevs-brutal-weight-miss\/\">lineup<\/a> of new fights:<\/p>\n<p>Nate Diaz vs. Tony Ferguson &#8211; Welterweight main event<\/p>\n<p>Khamzat Chimaev vs Kevin Holland &#8211; Catchweight co-main event<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Rodriguez vs. Li Jingliang &#8211; Catchweight fight<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-457665\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Kevin-Holland-Nate-Diaz-Khamzat-Chimaev-UFC.jpg\" alt=\"Kevin Holland, Nate Diaz, Khamzat Chimaev, UFC, UFC 279\" width=\"696\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Kevin-Holland-Nate-Diaz-Khamzat-Chimaev-UFC.jpg 696w, https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Kevin-Holland-Nate-Diaz-Khamzat-Chimaev-UFC-300x172.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While many fans were pleased with the new lineup of fights, with most conceding that it is now a better fight card, that didn&#8217;t result in Chimaev being let off the hook for his weight miss.<\/p>\n<p>As seen below, &#8216;Borz&#8217; was showered with boos by the fight fans in attendance at tonight&#8217;s UFC 279 ceremonial weigh-ins, this while he attempted to explain his weight miss to Joe Rogan.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThey stopped that sh*t (the weight cut), I don\u2019t know. Hey, this is Chechnya motherf**kers. Shut up, guys. I\u2019m gonna f**k your boy up, I f**k him backstage as well.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Khamzat Chimaev continued (h\/t <a href=\"https:\/\/mmajunkie.usatoday.com\/2022\/09\/ufc-279-news-khamzat-chimaev-dismisses-weigh-in-questions-ahead-of-new-kevin-holland-matchup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMAJunkie<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI don\u2019t care, I want to smash everybody.
