Oliveira ultimately did go on to compete and defeated Gaethje via first-round <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/charles-oliveira\/ufc-274-results-charles-oliveira-stops-justin-gaethje-in-round-1-video\/\">rear-naked choke<\/a>, making it a record 11 wins in a row for &#8216;do Bronx&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Glover Teixeira was recently interviewed by Ariel Helwani on&#8217; The MMA Hour&#8217; and when asked about the decision to strip Charles Oliveira of the title he said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMan, he\u2019s still the champion for me, for everybody, (and) in his mind. It was a disgrace. It was ridiculous.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Continuing Teixeira said (h\/t <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmanews.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMANews<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIf it was a couple pounds, I would say it\u2019s unprofessional on his part, but he was a half-pound, and everybody knows about the scale problem.
