Ngannou cited poor pay and Dana White\u2019s unwillingness to negotiate as the reasons for his frustration.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-404219\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Francis-Ngannou-Dana-White-1.jpg\" alt=\"Francis Ngannou, Dana White\" width=\"696\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Francis-Ngannou-Dana-White-1.jpg 696w, https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Francis-Ngannou-Dana-White-1-300x172.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson recently shared his thoughts on the feud between Francis Ngannou and the Ultimate Fighting Championship during a interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2022\/1\/29\/22903768\/benson-henderson-reacts-to-francis-ngannou-taking-stand-against-ufc-its-a-good-thing-for-him\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMAFighting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI think it\u2019s smart for Francis to do it,\u201d<\/em> Henderson said. <em>\u201cCertain people allow certain things to happen to them and they\u2019re either okay with it, or not okay with it. It\u2019s up to each person individually what you\u2019re okay with accepting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Benson Henderson continued:<\/p>\n<p id=\"Dc2dyv\"><em>\u201cNgannou is not accepting this, he\u2019s not accepting that, and I think it\u2019s on him. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a bad thing at all. I think it\u2019s good. I think he needs to stand up for what he believes, for what he\u2019s willing to accept, and for the amount of respect that he\u2019s due. A lot of that respect comes down to money to him, and the UFC can show him that kind of respect, no problem. It would not be a big burden, \u2018Oh, we\u2019ve got to pay Ngannou. What does he want? $5 million? Oh no, we don\u2019t have that kind of money.\u2019 They\u2019ve got that kind of money. So, yeah, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a bad thing at all.
