Fury made $30 million in his third fight against Wilder. Wilder made $20 million. Fury and Wilder made 25x more than all the UFC 270 fighters COMBINED. Yet, there are other comments citing if fighters aren&#8217;t happy with their paycheque then why are they doing it.<\/p>\n<p>Although it should be noted that several fighters have come forward with concerns over paycheques and contract negotiations including <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/dana-white\/francis-ngannou-reacts-after-dana-white-refuses-to-put-ufc-belt-around-his-waist-skips-press-conference\/\">Francis Ngannou<\/a>, Jon Jones and Jake Paul, just to name a few, who have been pushing for UFC fighters to get better renumeration.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_404219\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-404219\" style=\"width: 696px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-404219\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Francis-Ngannou-Dana-White-1.jpg\" alt=\"Francis Ngannou, Dana White\" width=\"696\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Francis-Ngannou-Dana-White-1.jpg 696w, https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Francis-Ngannou-Dana-White-1-300x172.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-404219\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(via Zuffa LLC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Back in July of 2021 Dana White, when responding to critics citing unfair UFC fighter pay he commented:<\/p>\n<p id=\"pfQ4SI\"><em>\u201cThe reality is anybody who\u2019s being critical outside of the fighters themselves don\u2019t know anything anyway,\u201d <\/em>White said in an interview with journalist\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-8l7lcrikvI\">Manouk Akopyan<\/a>.<em> \u201cThey don\u2019t actually know what these guys are making. And the fighters don\u2019t ever come out and tell you. There\u2019s no gag order on any of these guys. These guys can come out at any time and tell you what they\u2019re making. I have no problem with that. But they don\u2019t, do they? No, they do not. So it\u2019s sort of a Catch-22.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"hi2hvx\"><em>\u201cFighter pay has continually gone up every year since we owned the business. Obviously, there\u2019s been tons more opportunities with the outfitting policy, some of the sponsors that we\u2019ve brought in that spend tons of money with the fighters too. There\u2019s a lot of opportunity here for the fighters. And listen, there\u2019s never gonna be a guy that\u2019s coming out and saying, \u2018Yeah, they\u2019re paying me too much. They\u2019re overpaying me. And all of these guys that are champions share in the pay-per-view revenue.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"hTzTS1\"><em>\u201cListen, if you don\u2019t like it, go start your own MMA league and pay \u2018em whatever you want to pay \u2018em.
