In a few short weeks, he&#8217;ll step back into the Octagon to defend his title against Ciryl Gane in what many believe could be his final appearance for the promotion.<\/p>\n<p>Brendan Schaub, who has had his own difficulties with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the past, has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qdzVYoWuAWY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">compared Ngannou&#8217;s situation<\/a> to that of Roger Huerta.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Schaub Show Ep. 267: Dana White&#039;s Drug Test Challenge To Jake Paul | Paul vs Woodley 2 PPV Flop?\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qdzVYoWuAWY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cRemember, he [Huerta] got too big for his britches, remember what happened to him? You wanna fight out your last two fights and test free agency? Very cool, well that\u2019s gonna hurt our brand, so what we\u2019re gonna do is, you\u2019re on this rocket ship, we\u2019re gonna pull the fuel from that. You\u2019re not gonna get to the big star you\u2019re trying to get to. We\u2019re gonna take all the jet fuel out of your rocket ship, and we\u2019re gonna bench you, so you\u2019re not relevant. Then when you do fight, we\u2019re gonna put you on the prelims and we\u2019re gonna give you the worst possible match-up, good luck\u2019. It ruined Roger Huerta. It ruined him. No-one really ever heard of him after that. He went to Bellator, f***ed around with ONE Championship, kicking dudes in the face and stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cSo he\u2019s 35 [Ngannou].
