Ciryl Gane has warned fight fans not to expect the same style out of Francis Ngannou at UFC 270.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gane (10-0 MMA), the promotions current interim heavyweight title holder, and Ngannou (16-3 MMA) the UFC\u2019s reigning heavyweight champion, are set to collide in a title unification bout on January 22. <\/span><\/p>\n

The highly anticipated matchup is set to headline UFC 270 and the victor will leave the Octagon as \u201cthe baddest man on the planet\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ciryl Gane vs Francis Ngannou is a fascinating matchup for a number of reasons. First, \u2018Bon Gamin\u2019 possesses finesse striking while \u2018The Predator<\/a>\u2019 is known for his devastating knockout power. Secondly the pair are former friends and sparring partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Ciryl-Gane\"<\/p>\n

Having known and trained with Francis for many years, Ciryl Gane has a good idea what to expect from the Cameroonian this coming January. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think Francis did a lot these last years, and he probably improved and he\u2019s more intelligent. And that\u2019s really great. He\u2019s really well rounded now, and I think it\u2019s going to be more like that. Because he knows I can manage the power. I think he knows I can manage the power. So maybe he should be a smart fighter this day [when we fight].\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
