He&#8217;s been out of the Octagon for over 18 months now and all that seems to be left is for the two parties to come to terms on the right sum for a UFC title showdown.<\/p>\n<p>Schaefer, who is the lead advisor for Jones, recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmanews.com\/2021\/09\/jon-jones-seeking-to-reach-275-lbs-in-quest-to-be-baddest-hw-ever-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spoke to Ariel Helwani<\/a> and discussed the desired weight that &#8220;Bones&#8221; wants to be for his next bout.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CUGw-x6FUif\/<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cSo he said, \u2018Look, I\u2019m not gonna be ready in November or December. I want to bulk up. I want to bulk up in a smart way, in a strategic way, not just gain weight and be a big heavyweight. I want to gain the right weight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cBy the way, I talked to him yesterday. He\u2019s 260 pounds now, 260 muscle, strong, explosive.
