It was a disappointing result for their trilogy to end and since then, the Irishman has been focused on his recovery. Although the injury only happened two months ago, the Irishman says his recovery has been going well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like I could kick right now,\u201d McGregor said to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TVSVWoFSrm4\">journalist Adam Glyn<\/a> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2021\/9\/14\/22673679\/conor-mcgregor-gives-update-on-ufc-264-leg-injury-i-feel-like-i-could-kick-right-now\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMAFighting<\/a>). \u201cI honestly feel like I could kick right now, but I\u2019m just got to listen to the doctors and listen to the people that guided me. That\u2019s what I\u2019ve done so far. I\u2019ve committed myself to the work. I\u2019m back on the feet. It feels so good to be back on the feet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Conor McGregor is not kicking yet as he doesn&#8217;t want to rush his recovery, this is no doubt a good step for his recovery. He also knows he still has a long way to go but is confident he will fight again and is eager to prove everyone wrong.<\/p>\n<p id=\"AsuIwq\">\u201cI was upset for a little while, it\u2019s not been easy,\u201d McGregor said. \u201cThere\u2019s been a few ups and downs on this, it\u2019s probably one of the wildest things that\u2019s ever happened to me in my life. It\u2019s not been fun, smooth sailing, but I got through it. I\u2019ve had my family, my close team by my side, and we\u2019re getting there. Still a long way, I don\u2019t want to get too ahead of myself, like I said I feel like I can kick now, I\u2019m not advised to kick yet. But I\u2019m gonna get back. You think a broken bone is gonna stop me?
