Since the release, however, he has been open to the fact he wanted to return <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/diego-sanchez\/diego-sanchez-interested-in-bare-knuckle-boxing-for-bkfc-i-never-really-liked-the-gloves-in-the-ufc-anyway\/\">and even hinted at a move to BKFC<\/a>, which appears to be nearly official.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah we\u2019re having some great talks,\u201d Feldman told <a href=\"https:\/\/mmajunkie.usatoday.com\/2021\/08\/bkfc-david-feldman-diego-sanchez-signing-almost-finalized-needs-medical-clearance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMA Junkie<\/a> about Sanchez. \u201cI think we\u2019re going to close something out pretty soon. He\u2019s a good guy. I think he can offer a lot to us. I don\u2019t think he\u2019s done. We\u2019ll absolutely go through every type of medical<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>protocols that there are just because of the history he had with the guy (Joshua Fabia) that he was with. I want to make sure that everything\u2019s on the up and up with him, and I have a really good hunch and a feeling that they are.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo once we get through that, I think we can get to a contract and get something going,&#8221; Feldman continued. &#8220;It\u2019ll be great to have that legend, Diego Sanchez, fighting another legend inside the squared circle, which as soon as Diego signs, and I can announce the matchup that I have, people are going to be<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>like, \u2018What the hell is going on here?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As Feldman mentions, before Sanchez officially signs with the promotion, he will need to pass medical clearance. Assuming that happens, Feldman says they have two opponents in mind, one who is on the roster and one who is not. Yet, regardless of which one it is, he expects both fights to be massive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got one that\u2019s not on the roster that people are also going to go \u2018What the hell?&#8217;\u201d Feldman said about Sanchez&#8217;s first opponent. \u201cAnd I got another one that\u2019s on the roster that people are 100 percent going<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>to be like, \u2018I can\u2019t believe this. This doesn\u2019t make any sense,\u2019 but he actually, he asked for it. Until I get the contract done, I don\u2019t want to tease, tease, tease.
