That is at least for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p>Russia recently announced a border-closer the will take effect on March 30. With UFC 249 set to feature multiple fighters from the country, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, it remains unclear at this time if this will now <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/dana-white\/russias-cross-border-travel-ban-potentially-buries-khabib-nurmagomedov-vs-tony-ferguson\/\">prohibit<\/a> their ability to participate at the event.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-343184\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dana-White-12.png\" alt=\"Dana White\" width=\"696\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dana-White-12.png 696w, https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dana-White-12-300x172.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>UFC President Dana White has remained adamant that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ufc.com\">promotion<\/a> plans to continue not only with UFC 249, but also future slated events despite the Covid-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody\u2019s running and hiding,\u201d White said. \u201cI\u2019m one of those guys that would rather get out there and find solutions. How do we figure this out? How do we beat this thing? Listen, if you\u2019re somebody that\u2019s a high risk, you should probably stay away and stay quarantined for a while. What happens when flu season comes again next year? What happens then?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dana White continued to defend the promotion putting on UFC 249 and other <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/dana-white\/dana-white-confirms-four-or-five-potential-locations-for-ufc-249\/\">events<\/a> as planned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that the media has made this thing scary,\u201d he continued. \u201cPeople are buying all of the toilet paper there is. If you just look at a lot of things that are going on, it\u2019s wacky and totally driven by fear.
