Yeah because I mean, when you\u2019re the owner, you can do what you want so why not make your own weight,\u201d Danis told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wv2fKCbFoOg&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Schmo<\/a> recently (transcript via <a href=\"https:\/\/mmajunkie.usatoday.com\/2020\/01\/dillon-danis-bellator-why-catchweight-again-run-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MMA Junkie<\/a>). \u201cWhy do I have to go to everybody else\u2019s weight class, when I can make my own weight class and have my own belt and do what I want so (expletive) everybody else.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just say it, and it happens. Just one text message from me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While most fans are unlikely to believe that Danis has an ownership stake in Bellator, he&#8217;s either unwilling to break kayfabe or being sincere.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m kinda already half owner of the company, maybe one day I\u2019m going to own the full company, see what we do so I think everything is just going to plan,&#8221; Danis said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I already had ownership stake,\u201d Danis added, doubling down. \u201cRight when I came in, right when I signed, I said the only way I sign to Bellator is if I get ownership stake so that\u2019s what I mean \u2013 Coker, he calls me his business partner, you don\u2019t ever hear him say that about anyone else.
