Diaz sat down for an interview with Ariel Helwani last month and hinted at a possible Octagon return against Jorge Masvidal (to avenge his younger brother’s recent loss<\/a>.) As Nick Diaz is a figurehead of the sport that many younger fighters look up to, his demeanour was a cause for concern for the young Irishman. Gallagher said (transcript via Metro News<\/a>):<\/p>\n “That was scary. I don\u2019t know what it is, punch drunk? It\u2019s not weed, that\u2019s not weed,<\/p>\n “That\u2019s punch drunk. What was he even saying? There was a clip took off that was 58 seconds long of him speaking and he didn\u2019t say anything. He was saying stuff like ‘I\u2019ll walk if they want me to walk’, what? I don\u2019t even think he knows what he\u2019s saying.<\/p>\n “It\u2019s scary and that interview was scary. He\u2019s still a legend. I like him a lot.
