Former Strikeforce and UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has been knocked out in several of his most recent fights, and Michael Bisping \u2014 the man behind one of those knockouts \u2014 believes the American would be wise to hang up the gloves.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, he\u2019s right,\u201d Bisping said on his Believe You Me Podcast<\/em> (via MMA News<\/a>). \u201cHe achieved a lot in the sport. I feel sorry for Luke, even there I was taking the piss. I like Luke, he\u2019s a decent enough guy. He became Strikeforce champion, he became UFC champion. He had some great wins, he had a fantastic career so he\u2019s got a lot to be proud about. And at some point, you do have to move on. You can\u2019t do it forever and certainly, I hate to say it, getting knocked out cold three of your last four it\u2019s definitely time to call it a day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bisping is not the only member of the MMA community to suggest Rockhold should retire. In fact, Rockhold seems to be considering retirment himself, although he hasn’t yet committed to it.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cMy head is content where I\u2019m at right now,\u201d Rockhold told\u00a0MMA Fighting recently<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve done a lot of things in the sport. I\u2019m not trying to be a headline maker. I\u2019m not trying to say I\u2019m going to retire and then want to come back. I don\u2019t like to close doors on things in life.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now, I\u2019m just happy not fighting. It feels good to focus on other things.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFighting takes a lot. I\u2019ve done it, I\u2019ve been to the top of the game. I just don\u2019t have the same passion, the hunger for it at this point,\u201d Rockhold added. \u201cI\u2019m excited to go in other realms of life. I know I have a lot of fans out there. I\u2019m sorry I\u2019m not fighting but you never know. Maybe someday I will but I don\u2019t foresee it at this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cA couple grappling matches to keep myself entertained in the process, I think the people who tune in will have some fun watching. I\u2019m going to bring it to this kid, and if I do another one, I\u2019m sure it\u2019s going to be fun and entertaining.\u201d<\/p>\n
