{"id":331332,"date":"2019-11-08T06:09:13","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T14:09:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/?p=331332"},"modified":"2019-11-08T06:09:13","modified_gmt":"2019-11-08T14:09:13","slug":"report-conor-mcgregor-takes-dna-test-dispels-rumors-of-illegitimate-child","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/ufc\/report-conor-mcgregor-takes-dna-test-dispels-rumors-of-illegitimate-child\/","title":{"rendered":"Report | Conor McGregor takes DNA test, dispels rumors of illegitimate child"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this year, reports surfaced that a single mother in Liverpool, England was claiming that former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was the father of her young daughter Clodagh.<\/p>\n<p>McGregor recently took a DNA test that revealed he is not the father of the child in question, walloping rumors to the contrary.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.ie\/irish-news\/conor-mcgregor-not-the-father-of-love-child-dna-test-reveals-38672641.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Irish Independent<\/a> was first to report the news:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The test results, which have been seen by the Irish Independent, stated there was a &#8216;zero per cent probability\u201d&#8217;he was the father of Clodagh Murray, who will be two in January&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Swabs were taken from the mouths of Mr McGregor and the young girl for the purpose of DNA comparison.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The testing was organised through NorthGene Ltd, a recognised DNA testing service based in Newcastle, England.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It forwarded the samples to Eurofins, a private laboratory company accredited in England and Wales to carry out parentage tests in family law matters.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>According to documentation seen by the Irish Independent, Mr McGregor did not show the biological markers which would have to be present if he was the father of Clodagh Murray.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The results said it was &#8220;practically proven&#8221; Mr McGregor was not the little girl&#8217;s biological father.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This news comes just weeks after Conor McGregor announced plans for an Octagon return.
