Fridman said the poetic nature of Dagestan fighters, and arguably their purist attitude towards fighting influences their ability.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan says an example of this was the fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, where after the fight was finished, it was clear Khabib was fighting for honour instead of Instagram likes or fame.<\/p>\n<p>However, both Rogan and his guest clearly disapproved of the post-fight antics whereby Khabib jumped over the Octagon fence and a fight between both teams ensued.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, Fridman believes McGregor has a certain level of honour in the way he carries himself after fights: that he\u2019s respectful in both win and defeat. In fact, Lex Fridman believes Khabib disrespected Conor\u2019s culture as much as Conor disrespected Khabib.<\/p>\n<p>Many Joe Rogan fans were dumbfounded by Fridman\u2019s comments that Khabib was equally disrespectful and left comments of disdain towards the scientist.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Rogan said \u201cHe\u2019s always going to have a problem with Khabib. Khabib\u2019s wrestling is so high level, it\u2019s so different, he smothers you in a way that you think you have good take down defence until you run into that motherf*****.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One thing they both agreed on was that Conor McGregor wasn\u2019t as \u2018hungry\u2019 for the win, because he has so much money, he doesn\u2019t have the same level of drive as other UFC fighters.
